Beautiful crochet lace sweater pattern for women perfect for warmer weather.
I am so in love with this beautiful crochet lace sweater! It is even more special because it is part of a collaboration with some of my favourite crochet designer friends!
When I received the email to be a guest crochet designer for Studio Crochet digital magazine issue two, I was over the moon.
Then I saw the brief and mood board for the issue. I could not wait until the issue sees the light of the day.
Just one word to sum it up – lace! And I was hooked (pun totally intended!).
I am happy to be collaborating with HanJan Crochet, Ned & Mimi and Itchin’ For Some Stitchin’ once again!
If you have seen issue one of Studio Crochet, you know that this is going to be a great deal on some stunning crochet patterns.

Ellie Lace Sweater Sizing
The width of the back panel is measured at maximum stretch of the fabric.
The back panel only offers 12 cm positive ease to the actual body measurement according to Craft Yarn Council standard body measurements. Whereas the front panel is wider by 30% to allow for the twist in the fabric and a relaxed drape.
To determine which size is most suitable, first measure your chest circumference.
Next, divide this measurement in half to obtain your back width measurement and add 12 cm to it (for positive ease).
Compare this total measurement with the table to find the closest back panel width measurement to determine the size to make.
The model in photos is wearing size S and her chest circumference is 86 cm.
Her back width is 43 cm, add 12 cm positive, to make 55 cm.
The closest size of back panel width from the table is 55 cm which is size S.
