Lace Crochet V-neck Top For Summer Pattern Details
This lace crochet V-neck top could not be any easier to make! All you have to crochet is two simple rectangles!
No shaping, no tricky increases or decreases, just mindless crochet in rows back and forth, then join them together.
In keeping with the lace look of this top, we will use a simple joining technique that will create a stunning lace join in the middle of the front and back panels.
I used fingering weight cotton yarn for light, airy and breathable summer top that will become a staple in your hot weather wardrobe.
It is also super easy to customise the width – just work more rows – and the length – just add more stitches to your starting chain.

Joining Sides
Align two sides with right side facing up next to each other.
Insert hook through the first stitch of both sides from the right side to wrong side, create a slip knot with your yarn and pull through making sure your yarn is behind your work, a bit like when we work the surface slip stitch in crochet.
Then insert hook through the next st on both sides, yarn over and pull through all 3 loops on the hook.
To work through the stitches, insert hook through back loop only on both sides, yarn over and pull through all loops on the hook.
For more visual help with the flat slip stitch joining method, please watch the video tutorial linked.
Continue joining the panels until you reach the desired depth of your armhole, this is completely customisable.
Then fasten off and sew in all ends.
