Tension/Gauge
the circle measures 10 cm/4 inches in diameter after completing round 4

Pattern Notes
- the bag is constructed from 2 circles that are crocheted separately
- the circle starts with a magic circle and has increases spaced out
- you will use the waistcoat single crochet which makes the bag sturdy and gives it a knit-like texture
- each circle has a handle created over the last 2 rounds
- you will then attach the 2 circles together to form a round bag shape with the handles at the top
- you can add a magnetic closer to the top and line it with fabric, although this is not necessary as the stitch creates a sturdy fabric with no holes
- I also added a leather handbag strap to be able to wear the bag on my shoulder
- the finished size of the handbag is 38 cm / 15 inch in diameter

Crochet Circle Bag Finishing Instructions
Attach the magnetic closer on the inside of each circle.
Using sharp scissors, cut out two semicircles from the lining fabric the same size as your bag.
Line up the semicircles with right sides facing and sew together at least 2 cm away from the edge.
Turn right side out and iron your seams for neat results.
Place inside your bag and sew across the top edge to attach and line your bag.
To attach the leather strap, hook it around the stitches of the seam on either side of the bag.
