I am so excited to be bringing you this festive CAL in collaboration with eight other designers. It has been a few weeks in planning and we are excited to finally share the CAL with you.
I have teamed up with them to bring you nine festive crochet squares using the tapestry crochet technique. This is a great colorwork technique.
Even if you haven’t tried this technique before, with these easy patterns, you can give it a go!
These are easy square patterns you can make in the evening after a busy day preparing for the festive end of the year.

Gift Box Tapestry Crochet Square by Blue Star Crochet
I am kicking the CAL off with this cute gift box tapestry square. It uses all three chosen festive colors.
Make two of these if you want to have tapestry crochet squares on both sides of the cushion. Alternatively, you can also crochet a plain back.
Wouldn’t this square also make a great gift tag for that special added touch to a wrapped gift for a loved one?

Stocking by Fosbas Designs
The second square in the CAL is this super cute Christmas stocking! It would not be a festive decor if there wasn’t a cute stocking hanging somewhere!

Christmas Tree by Raffamusa Designs
The most important symbol of the festive season, is the Christmas tree complete with little decorations.
This square would make a lovely throw or a festive baby blanket too! However, the designer made these into individual coasters and I think they look absolutely stunning!

Bauble by Sunflower Cottage Crochet
A super cute bauble combined with a snowflake is featured in the fourth square of the CAL. The use of red and white gives it a simplistic nordic feel.

Simple yet effective, this holly tapestry crochet square pattern is an excellent addition to the cushion.
This is nice quick crochet project, that will make a small square, and its perfect for someone whose a beginner at tapestry crochet!

For those of you with a sweet tooth, we have a sweet candy cane tapestry crochet square. You can make it for a beautiful holiday afghan, pillow, wall hanging, purse or other.

The cute reindeer tapestry crochet square is the seventh square in the CAL. Make these for a wall hanging or as a set of cute coasters.
Add it to an apron to make it into a pocket, sew multiple ones together to turn it into a pillow, or seam two together and add a strap for a fun holiday tote.
