Materials For Infinity Scarf Project
- Scheepjes Spirit (fingering weight; 210m per 50g ball; 56% cotton, 44& acrylic) x 3 balls in Grasshopper (307)
- I used precisely 122g /513m of yarn
- 4.5 mm crochet hook
- Yarn needle
- Scissors
- blocking boards
Crochet Tension / Gauge
6 shell pattern repeats x 10 rows measured 10 x 10 cm on unblocked swatch

ch- chain stitch
sc – single crochet
dc – double crochet
beg – beginning
Crochet Infinity Scarf Finished Size
The finished infinity scarf measures 15.5 cm wide x 214 cm circumference
Crochet Infinity Scarf Main Pattern
Chain 34.
ROW 1: starting in 2nd chain from your hook work 1 sc, (miss next ch, 3 dc into the next ch, miss next ch, 1 sc in next ch) repeat across the foundation chain, turn. [8 shells]
ROW 2: 3 ch, 1 dc in same st at the bottom of 3 ch, *miss next dc, 1 sc in next dc (middle dc of the shell), miss next dc**, (1 dc, 1 ch, 1 dc) into the next sc; repeat from * ending last repeat at **, work 2 dc into last sc, turn. [7 lacy shells]
ROW 3: 1 ch, 1 sc in first st, miss next dc, *3 dc into next sc, miss next dc**, 1 sc into next 1 ch-sp, miss next dc; repeat from * ending last repeat at **, 1 sc into top of beginning 3 ch from previous row, turn. [8 shells]
Rep rows 2 and 3 for pattern another 107 times or until you reach desired length.
You will have 217 rows in total.
Finishing Instructions
Fasten off leaving a longer tail end.
Line up the last row with the underside of the foundation chain and sew together using the tail end and a needle.
Fasten off and sew in all ends securely.
To open up the lace pattern, you can gently block the infinity scarf.
However, the finished scarf in pictures has not been blocked as I was happy with the finished look.
