Romantic crochet heart bracelet that would make a lovely addition to Valentine’s Day. You can crochet one as a gift or wear one yourself on a special date.
Valentine’s Day is a funny one, isn’t it? Some people really love and celebrate it, some people really do not like it. And let’s be honest a lot of people do not care for it.
Which one are you?
However, I think it is an important day! Not in the buying presents and making big gestures kinda way. I think it is important to let other people know that we love them!
Life is super busy nowadays, maybe we do really need a day to remind us. Stop and appreciate who you have got in your life. Whether it is your husband or boyfriend or other members of the family.
Valentine’s Day does not have to be about lovers. You can show your mum, dad, siblings, kids or even your friends how much they mean to you.
Wouldn’t it be lovely to make a matching crochet heart bracelet and gift one to your mum? So every time she looks at it, she will know how much you love her?
Or make one for your daughter to wear to school! So she remembers throughout the day that someone loves her very much.

Easy Crochet Heart Bracelet Pattern
I absolutely adore this crochet heart bracelet! It was so easy to make! I was surprised how quickly you can work one up!
Although I used crochet thread and 2 mm crochet hook, it really did not take too long. There is still plenty of time to make one as a gift for someone special. You can totally make one for yourself to wear on a special date, it does not have to be specifically for Valentine’s Day.
The crochet heart bracelet has an adjustable closure. That means you do not have to worry about the fit. You can follow the pattern exactly without the need to adjust it in any way.
That makes it a great pattern to make as gifts for loved ones or to sell on a craft stall if you have one.
For the closure to be adjustable you will make a series of square knots that are used in macrame. But please do not be put off, I have a super easy video tutorial you can follow.

CROCHET HEART BRACELET PATTERN NOTES
- the pattern starts with creating fondation chain using foundation single crochet
- leave a longer yarn tail end on both sides as these will become part of the closure
- you could replace fsc with a standard starting chain and work 1 row of sc
- the hearts are worked in two halves
- the top half of the heart is worked across the foundation chain
- the bottom half of the heart is worked across the underside of the foundation chain
- you will work into both sides of the foundation chain with the right side of your work facing you
- both the top and bottom half of the heart is worked into the same stitch
- the closure is adjustable
- You will achieve this by using a square knot used in macrame
- I added a bead to each end of the strings used for the closure to stop them slipping through
SIZE ADJUSTMENTS
- I designed the pattern as one size fits most due to the adjustable closure
- if you wanted to adjust the number of hearton the bracelet, you need to adjust the starting chain by 6 stitches as each heart is created over 6 stitches

How To Crochet A Heart Bracelet Main Pattern
Leaving a longer yarn tail end, create a foundation chain by working 49 fsc.
Row 1:1 ch, 1 sc in same st at the bottom of 1 ch, (miss next 2 sts, 3 dc in next, 1 ch, sl st into same st, 1 ch, 3 dc into the same st, miss next 2 sts, 1 sc in next) 8 times working last sc into last fsc.
Turn your work 180 degrees so the right side is still facing you and continue working into the underside of the foundation chain.
Row 2: sl st into first st on the underside of the foundation chain, * miss next 2 sts, work (2 hdc, 1 dc, 1 ch, 1 tr, 1 ch, 1 dc, 2 hdc) in next, miss next 2 sts, 1 sc in next; repeat from * across making sure the two halves of the heart line up, work the last sc into the last st on the underside of the foundation chain.

FINISHING INSTRUCTIONS
Fasten off leaving a longer tail end.
Line up both tail ends so that they run parallel to each other to create the closure.
With a separate piece of thread create the square knot tying both ends together to create the adjustable closure.
It is a standard square knot adjustable closer. THIS WEBSITE has a clear step by step tutorial on how to make this great bracelet closure. For the square knot please watch a tutorial HERE.
After creating the square knot closer, trim each yarn end to lenght and fix small bead to each end so they do not clip through the closure.
