I am so excited that the day is here- Friendship Blanket CAL starts today! Check out all the squares below that you can use to make a blanket or whatever takes your fancy.
There are some light lacy squares that would lend themselves to making a garment. We also have some thicker ones that would make lovely tablewares, potholders or cushion covers.
Blankets are always handy to make and give you such a sense of achievement when they are completed, don’t they? I was over the moon when Helen from Sunflower Cottage Crochet came up with the idea! I couldn’t wait to get involved.
These 40 free square patterns have been designed by 28 super talented designers! I have organised the squares by the date of their release. So, on this page you will find all the squares that have been released in January.

If you are sometimes totally impatient like me, you can get your hands on all 40 square patterns right now. We have put all the patterns together in the form of a crochet bundle. It contains all 40 patterns and it is a total steal at $10. That is just $0.25 per pattern.
