Lacy Granny Square Pattern Inspiration
If this is not the right time to celebrate love and friendship then I don’t know when!
I have been so excited to be involved with a beautiful project organised by Sunflower Cottage Crochet.
Helen organised a crochet along involving 28 crochet designers who have put together 40 amazing crochet granny square patterns.
I have contributed with STUNNING TEXTURED CROCHET SQUARE FREE PATTERN earlier in the crochet along – my Friendship Star Crochet Granny Square.
My previous square is full of texture so this time around I have come up with more of a lacy granny square. It starts off as a circle to represent the circle of friends and family around you. Theses are the people celebrated in this crochet along. The circle is then turned into a 9 inch square that complements the blanket beautifully.
I used basic crochet stitches grouped in an innovative way to create this stunning lacy crochet granny square.
As you can see it uses crochet puff stitch for some gorgeous texture. The other stitches used in this pattern are double crochet and even treble crochet.

It is not free on Ravelry, when i type in CIRCLES CODE THAT WAS GIVEN, it says not valid.
Where can I find the correct code.
Thank you for your response
that’s because the code is CIRCLE
You make lovely squares Veronika! Thank you ā¤ļø
thank you
Thank you for this lovely pattern. Just a note though, your stitch count for the final row is incorrect. You end up with 28 stitches per side which is 112 sts, not 88.
Thank you for pointing it out! Corrected now ?
You make some great squares. I am impressed with how little they roll & I absolutely love your Star square because it incorporates the “lace” and “texture” but the lace is not too lacy for me. I always shy away from the lacy kind because I make for little ones mostly. Yours I will use in a blanket for me & no child will be sleeping with it.
Yours are so nice & straight I needed to thank you! <3
Thank you for your kind comment š
If making this in a larger size which row would you repeat?
the last round would be the easiest to repeat to make it bigger
Hi!! This is so great!! Just curious for round 6- should it be skipping 4dc and we do 4dc in each V in round 5?
Hi, no please follow pattern as written.
