This is a free crochet water bottle holder pattern that will make your life easier. Carry your essential water bottle around hands-free with this cute crochet bottle holder.
This crochet water bottle holder is another item that I didn’t think I needed before I actually tried it!
We have recently been going on long family walks with our dog Roxy.
The first time we went out for a walk, we cam a little unprepared. However, the walk turned out to be much longer than we initially planned as the weather was just perfect and the surrounding were picturesque!
So, of course everyone got a little thirsty, including the dog.
The next time we went out for a family dog walk, I knew I had to take a bottle of water with me.
And of course, I ended up carrying the bottle in my hands because I just had no other option.
Then it occurred to me, I can actually crochet a water bottle holder I can wrap around my neck or wear it as a crossbow bag!
Problem solved and I am even more happy because this crochet water bottle holder only takes around half hour to make!

Crochet Water Bottle Holder Design
In oder to whip this crochet water bottle holder up, I kept things pretty simple and straightforward.
I have started with a simple crochet circle that will become the bottom of the crochet bottle holder.
You can completely customise this crochet water bottle holder to the size of the bottle you wish to use it for!
You simply work up the circle so that it is big enough to fit at the bottom of the water bottle.
I have then used the simple Paired double crochet stitch to work around the circle to create the main body of the crochet holder.
And that is all there is to crochet a water bottle holder.
I used a sturdy cotton yarn which will make this practical item strong and durable as I can imagine using this holder for every walk!
Cotton yarn will also absorb any moisture would your water bottle leak or get a little condensation running down the sides.
